Hello

TEMPESTT BLEDSOE

Actress
The Cosby Show
Stern School of Business

Tempestt Bledsoe has enjoyed success in the entertainment business since the age of four. She began by singing jingles for radio and television commercials in her hometown of Chicago, and that was only a hint of what was to come.

By the age of ten, she was cast as Vanessa on The Cosby Show. The Cosby Show broke new ground in television and is widely regarded as one of the greatest shows in television history, giving a unique look into a “traditional” family home.

While working on The Cosby Show, academics were always foremost in her pursuits, and she was chosen as a finalist in the National Achievement Scholarship Program. Tempestt later enrolled at NYU’s prestigious Stern School of Business, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

Her career continued to flourish, and soon after finishing her Off-Broadway stage debut
in From the Mississippi Delta, she became the host of her own nationally syndicated talk
show Tempestt, produced by Columbia-Tristar and Dick Clark.

Some of her television work includes a recurring role on The Practice, hosting Clean House on Style, The Hallmark Channel’s original movie Wishing Well, Steven Bochco’s Raising The Bar,
Oxygen’s Husband For Hire, and the voice of Abbey on Disney Channel’s The Replacements and the voice of Sheriff Hooper in the Oscar-nominated animated feature, Paranorman.

Most recently Tempestt starred in NBC’s comedy Guys With Kids as Marny, in the Lifetime film, Jingle Belle and in a recurring role on the Netflix series Family Reunion.
