The safety of all of our registrants and participants for the in-person events of the Black Diamond Weekend is of the utmost importance to the planning team. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, conference attendees will be required to agree to abide by the following guidelines to ensure the safety of all participants. These policies are in line with CDC Guidance. (Please note: The COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly changing, and these guidelines are subject to change.)

  • Masks will be required in all indoor settings when not eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status. Face masks may be removed if you are presenting or speaking during an in-person event.

  • You will be required to receive and present a negative COVID test administered no earlier than 48 hours prior to arrival at the conference. The conference planning committee is relying on the honor system in making this request and appreciates your cooperation to ensure a safe experience for all of us.

  • Free rapid antigen COVID testing will be provided onsite from 2 until 8pm on Thursday, November 11, and throughout the duration of the conference.

  • Testing Results Policy:

    • If the rapid antigen COVID test is negative, attendees can attend the event.

    • If the rapid antigen COVID test is positive, attendees will not be permitted to participate in the event, but can participate in the program virtually.

  • Conference attendees will be subject to temperature screenings at registration.

  • General Health and Safety Guidelines:

    • Please stay home if feeling feverish or coughing prior to the conference.

    • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing

    • We encourage attendees to adopt a no-handshake or no-hug policy.
