Carin Carr

Carin Schneller –Carr grew up in Chicago Illinois and moved to Norfolk Virginia in 2002 with her husband Jonathan. Upon arrival and after attending Old Dominion University, Carin immediately began looking for a career that she could use her sales, customer service and management expertise in from the restaurant and hospitality industry. Starting as a part-time teller with BB&T 14 years ago allowed her to learn from the ground up how the retail banking industry worked and how to read and exceed client expectations. From there, she was promoted to a branch banker, retail and small business lender, market leader and now a top performing business banker at BB&T, now Truist.

When Carin is not spending time with entrepreneurs, small business owners or her family, she has volunteered her time with the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach, The Cosmopolitan Club of Norfolk, ForKids, and a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts. Carin also spends time volunteering at her children’s school and working with small businesses. She is also the proud mother of four beautiful children ranging in age from 28 to 7 years old.
